Headliner – Samantha Day
Samantha Day is familiar with the joys and frustrations of corporate life, having spent 30 years in the city. And then, six years ago, she swapped spreadsheets for stand up – and what a turnaround.
She is a fearless, and refreshingly honest comedian whose unique blend of wit, warmth, and self-deprecating humour has captivated audiences across the country. Brilliantly observational, her comedy draws from real life —marriage to the long suffering Mr Day, motherhood of a gaggle of millennials and Gen Z offspring, and the small absurdities of everyday existence — all delivered with a perfectly timed punchline and a big dose of heart.
In 2025 she won the Silver Stand Up Award at the Leicester Comedy Festival and earned 4-star reviews for her "cathartic venting sessions. She has also been a semi-finalist of The British Comedian of the Year in 2024.
